Foods people love, ran at scale

Sympli was born from a simple observation: some of the foods people love most are among the hardest to run at scale. Yam, plantain and West African white sweet potato are exceptional ingredients, but for many kitchens they also bring daily operational challenges, including seasonal availability, inconsistent quality and ripeness, labour-heavy peeling and prep, and extremely limited shelf life at ambient temperature.

The business grew from a long-held processing vision first championed by our late founder, Mr H. K.Ram, and later carried forward by his sons and a committed team within the Primlaks Group. By reviving and rebuilding that capability into Venus Processing & Packaging Ltd, the team unlocked a clear opportunity to create chef-ready West African sides that solve real kitchen challenges without losing authenticity.

Step by step refinement

What appeared simple on paper proved technically demanding in practice. Delivering a consistently high-performing yam chip, ripe plantain cut or white sweet potato fry requires tight control across sourcing, processing, freezing and storage.

Over years of field-to-factory learning, Sympli developed the sourcing discipline, technical expertise and quality systems needed to meet professional foodservice standards consistently across every batch.

Today, Sympli products are carefully prepared, partially cooked and Individually Quick Frozen to preserve freshness, improve consistency and simplify kitchen execution. Our promise is straightforward: Delicious like home. Built for the realities of foodservice.
